February 23, 2010 Guam Department of Labor Director Maria Connelley today announced that the Agency continues to provide free training clinics for private sector employers who wish to learn more about labor programs and regulations including job placement, workers compensation and workplace safety. The clinics began in 2009 in an effort to raise awareness about employment training programs and have since expanded to include updates on fair employment practices, employment services for persons with disabilities and GDOL’s temporary foreign worker program. The following is a schedule of labor clinics available for March and April 2010: March 9, 2010
