Classes Starting the Week of June 30 - July 4, 2008 Tuesday, July 1 HVAC 2: Introduction to Control Circuit Troubleshooting Thursday, July 3 CORE: Basic Rigging
USEPA Section 608 Certification Class & Examination
The federal government of the United States requires all individuals who open a system or container holding a controlled refrigerant to be certified. Persons who work on stationary equipment or use refrigerant designed for these systems can become certified by passing a proctored Section 608 examination. The GCA Trades Academy is offering a one-day certification course and examination for candidates seeking Section 608 certification in any of three equipment categories plus Universal. Class size is limited and candidates are encouraged to enroll early. Because arrangements need to be made to proctor the USEPA controlled examination, candidates must enroll & pay for the course no later than 5:00 pm, Thursday, July 10th. Where & When GCA Trades Academy building, Barrigada Saturday, July 12, 2008 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Tuition: $195.00 (includes textbook & cost of exam)
