Hawaii Job Corps Up-Date Print E-mail

The Guam Department of Labor's Guam Employment Services Division (GES) continues to process Job Corps applications from individuals 16 to 24 years of age. To date, one Applicant has been accepted to the Hawaii Job Corps in Waimanalo.

The GES is an extension of the Hawaii Job Corps Outreach and Admission Office. With a working Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Hawaii will accept and process applications from Guam.

Some examples of vocational training provided by the Hawaii Job Corps include Automotive Repair, Business Occupations, Culinary Arts, Facility Maintenance, Health Occupations, Landscaping, or Painting.

Job Corps can also give you the opportunity to earn a GED or a competency-based high school diploma.

If you are 16 to 24 years old and have exhausted all local means of trying to establish your career, the Job Corps may be the answer to your situation.

You must have a firm commitment to pursue the Job Corps. The application process is lengthy and you must provide several documents as a requirement of the program.
