The Guam Deparment of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics is pleased to announce the release of the September 2005 Current Employment Report.

Total payroll employment on Guam increased by 630 jobs from 57,310 to 57,940 from September 2004 to September 2005.

The number of private sector jobs increased by 340 in the latest quarter and by 670 in the latest year. The services industry led the private sector job gains this quarter with hotel employment increasing by 170 and other services increasing by 180 jobs respectively.
